I am kirtiman katyayan buying Mahindra Scorpio was a long time dream for me and for my family. Waiting for long time I finally managed to put my hands on my Dream vehicle. I purchased Mahindra
Scorpio (Bill no. SA104 and chassis no. MAIT-A2HANB2G10154) from Shimla automobiles Mandi , an authorized dealer of Mahindra. But very soon the Fairy dream turned into a Nightmare. From day 1
of purchase the problem started we got sudden noise coming from my Scorpio for which we made a complaint through phone to Shimla automobiles Mandi .They advised us to go to kullu Manali
branch at Mohal .Branch at Kullu Manali was not able to find out the right solution for my problem. Then the second problem arose the same day the problem is that the Sensors of reverse gear was not
working up to the mark and loosing connection in between. The mechanic from Mohal in kullu Manali branch checked the vehicle and said that this problem can only be fixed at the Agency as they don’t
have experts who deal with Scorpio. Then I realized that I had already visited the main dealership in Mandi Shimla Automobiles more then 5-6 times carrying the same complaints about my Sensors
,noise from engine and turbo .They had changed my sensors for my reverse gear first time and it worked fine (I am not sure how long it will work ).Then another problem arose in between it was the
Oil pressure speaking command which used to warn me about the oil pressure but when I checked it in the Mahindra in Mandi at Shimla Automobile they said the pressure is okay .They satisfied me
saying that its because of winter that there is some change .On March 3rd I gave my vehicle for service to Mahindra agency. They kept my vehicle for 2 months and replaced engine and turbo. After
delivery, the gear box problem creeped up. When I contacted the company they said that they need to open the gear box for repairing it. I have sustained financial and mental loss due to this. I feel as if
I got cheated as my expectations got thrashed and the company failed to deliver an efficient and wholesome piece of machinery. I have sustained mental harassment, financial losses and wastage of
time. I feel like I have bought a second hand vehicle in pathetic condition. The top end model (Mahindra scorpio vlx) was not able to give its best performance as we had expected and heard the stories.
Thankfully we did not used vehicle for any long drive as I would have definitely ended up with some major problem. I want them to replace the product with similar or superior one
