I am a Vodafone customer for morethan 5 years and have 2 connections, one post paid and one prepaid. I have been using 2G GPRS pack in my prepaid no. ********33 for a long time now. Since I had a offer for 3G pack at a discounted price I have activated 3G pack 2 days back, since my 2G pack validity is almost over. Today Morning I saw a SMS saying that my 3G is de-activated and 2G pack is activated and the amount also got debited from my balance. When I contacted the Vodafone customer care for complaints in the morning they told me that since my 2G auto renewal was active, my 3G got deactivated and 2G got activated. When I asked why the customre care representative that How i will know that my 3G pack will be de-activated because of 2G auto renewal is active and also why this was not communicate in any form to me. Also I asked the complaint escalation procedure and she told me to call the customer care after 10AM in the morning. When again I contacted the customer care and complained about this there was no proper response and when asked about escalation procedure, she abruptly disconnected the call. I never expected these type of response from a Global company. I cannot accept the 3G de-activation with out prior intimation. I need my 3G plan to be re-instated without any additional charge and the re-fund of the amount debited for 2G activation. Also have a proper customer intimation system in place so that no future customer suffers like me.

Hey I did exactly come across like that situation and I did called a couple of times abt it! They don't care nothing work out.... they say need to spend and do recharge again which let me to the conclusion that I will never ever used again..... did recharge for unlimited for a month not a single day has been used.... pooph...!!! Data pack gone without any further information.... !!!
