Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing to you with reference to my Idea mobile number ********31. It is extremely disappointing to express my grievances against telephone majors like Vodafone. I had visited your Ascendas store Chennai for porting in to your network on September the 15th and was assured that I would be migrating to your network within 7 working days.

I waited until September 24th and finally decided to revisit the same store (a good 15km from my place of work) only to be reassured that it will be done by Friday (Sept 21st). I had to forgo half a day pay for the purpose but still your staff was not courteous enough to understand my difficulties. I requested them to provide me a contact number so that I could reach out if the porting is not done by Friday (which I am sure would not happen considering that I have received no SMS citing confirmation), thereby avoiding 15km of travel and another pay cut. The staff declined to provide me any contact number.

All said and done, I am still hopeful that you would consider the matter with greater importance and strive to deliver based on promise made by your staff.

Note: I have migrated the same number innitially from Vodafone to Tata Docomo to Idea Cellular, only to be back with VODAFONE.
