Infibeam - I am not satisfied with product and service

Hi, Have ordered Callmate 1000 mA Hybrid Wall & Car Charger (Black) from Infi Beam and I got the product delivered on 19th March 2013. The product I received was defective and I have got back to them via email immediately. They have asked me for the picture of the same which I have sent the same day. Till date (26th March 2013) there was no update from their end. Every time I call they say they are looking into it / have escalated. When I call up customer care on 22nd March 2013 the person who spoke told me that he would get back to me with the resolution in a day and give a call back but nothing happened. I called them back on 25th March 2013 the person told he will give a call back in 2 hrs time again no show. I called up 26th March 2013 the lady who spoke to me told she will call me back in 10 mins but this time I dont want myself to be fooled so I continued to wait on hold so that he would get me a proper response. She and her supervisor spoke to me on the same call and told that they would take the product back to the warehouse, look into it talk to the supplier and then take the appropriate action on it. They also told they will pick the product on 28th March 2013 and it would take couple of days to reach the warehouse and another couple of days to look into and get back to me. It means that another 7 - 8 days for them to action and this time I dont have the product and I have been charged as well. I was not really comfortable doing it as I have seen them past one week the way they are responding to my complaints. I told them to either reverse my money / give me a replacement and pick the defective product. I just don't want to be behind them after giving the product and keep calling them on reversal or replacement. The supervisor was kept on telling that their policy doesn't allow to do what I was expecting but he was not ready to understand their lack in giving proper customer service. The funny part is they dont even have an automated reply system by which we can atleast assume that the mail that we send reaches them. For 4 mails I have sent I have never got an reply / call from them, given this I am not sure how they are expecting me to give the product and continue to wait. I don't think any online players work this way and when the customer is irritated with their service they should do something about it rather keep on saying the same old dialogs. Already I have spent atleast 1 hr mobile minutes talking to them and I dont want to waste my time and money with them by giving the defective product for nothing. I was very much irritated they way they guys spoke so I finally I told I will live with the defective product and thanks for the service. Whether I got my things resolved or not I want this to be a learning for everybody and the if possible infi beam top guys should know whats happening with their business. Frankly, I always go to flipkart for all my needs this is the first time I went to infibeam just coz it was 30/- rupees less than flipkart but I would have spent more than 30/- on my calls to call center and unnecessary tensions only I got back talking to infi beam guys.
