Acer India - was it my mistake to buy acer notebook?

hello,
I have bought a acer aspire notebook in june 2010 which could not be power on after some time, i lodged a complain with the acer service centre in andheri east mumbai on 7th of dec, they told me it will not take more than 5 days some part to come for repair, but today it is 20th still nothing has been done, i m in merchant navy i have to leave on 27th now i m left with no option. In city like mumbai they can not provide satisfactory service where else it can be expected, I am still looking for some solution.
