Voltas Limited - Voltas AC Poor after sale service

We purchased Voltas vertis Plus S 1.5 ton split AC from Jharsuguda after its commissioning it only work for 2 days and it stop function afterwards. we lounge a complaint on customer care complaint:id: 10AP1102694 on 11 april and service persons came to our home after 3 days with too many follow ups. They found its control card having technical problem and he told us to send it to Bhuvaneswar and replace. We contact Bhuvaneswar and they told it will take minimum 15 days to get replacement. So we have to wait still end of the summer to get my AC repaired and i have to obey all their orders like send/bring it to head office just as a punishment for purchasing indias no 1 worst A/C

I have purchage 1.5ton window AC now it was not working at 28july to till date 13september as per our complant no:-12JL2801574.service person come after followup and he told me timer is not working after reparing ac not given cooling .then iam again complant customer care told to me compressor problem in your AC .shortage of compressor so it take time .
IT is wrong with me when we need AC cooling then i can not used it so lastely customer service is very poor as per my consider.

SIR I HAVE PURCHASE A VOLTAS WINDOW A/C FROM GP ENT. 26/3/2010. AFTER THE PURCHASE OF A/C NOT ANY VISIT BY SERVICE ENG FOR FREE SERVICE, THEN OUR AC FAN MOTOR NO WORK & DEALER NOT CHANGE THE MOTOR UNDER WARRANTY SO I RAISE A COMPLAINT 11AP0200942 BUT AC MOTOR NOT CHANGE BY DEALER TILL DATED SO PLEASE DO THE NEEDFUL ACTION OR KINDLY CONTACE WITH ME ********63

Relying on the reputation of Voltas being a TATA group, I purchased one Vertis Platina model and out door machine1½ ton Split AC (indoor machine unit No. 003509 and out door machine unit No. 007611 on 23.06.0 from M/s Sunil Refrigeration Works, Neta Ji Subhash Marg New Delhi. The same was installed on 25.06.10 evening. Ever since the above units were installed, has not giving effective cooling. Therefore, I had lodged a complaint in customer care No. 1********5 on 15.07.10 vide Complaint NO. 10JL-1503564 but the same was not attended till 26.07.10 and closed arbitrarily without paying any visit. After my repeated reminding calls, the same was reopened and a technician of M/s Jaina Enterprises stating to be authorized after sale service agent visited my place on 29.07.10 and diagnosed gas leaked. I was assured that the same would be refilled next day. However, the same could be refilled on 31.07.10 late in the evening after my several call to M/s Jaina Enterprises.

It is painful to state that same problem of ineffective cooling started persisting after few days. Troubled with this I again lodged another complaint on 31.08.10 vide 10AU-3102274 on same customer care No. No body turned up in reply to my above complaint till 4.09.10. When I called several times on 3 & 4.09.10, the same technician of M/s Jaina Enterprises again visited my place and diagnosed same problem of gas leakage. He again assured that the same would be refilled next day, but to my shocking experience nobody has turned up till today. When I called again helpline no. today again the same stereo type answer that the request was closed and being open again, to wait till tomorrow was given to me. I surprise how the complaints lodged by me are being closed arbitrarily without paying visit by anyone.

Poor performance of AC, not attending of my complaints properly despite of repeated reminding calls and arbitrarily closure of my complaints have not only caused me mental agony but also a harassment being a consumer who relied on best after sale service promise of the Voltas and has shaken the goodwill of company and my faith on Voltas. In nowhere in the broachers or any pamphlets it is told any time that after sale service shall be provided by outsourced agents like M/s Jaina who hardly turn-up on call. The consumer relies on the promising name of the company and is later left at the mercy of such unethical Bas. Though the complaints are registered by Voltas Customer Care but how the same are closed without attending should be a matter of concerns for a company like Voltas. I also tried calling all india service manager’s number and north are service manager’s number today but the same were also not responding or switched off. I hope you will appreciate that out of 43 days from the date of installation the same remained defective for total 24 days in two spells of 18 days + 8 days. The big Question is whether this is the state of Voltas after sale customer care??????????

I support this complaint.
I purchased 2 new ACs on 17.05.2010. Their personnel came for demo on 21st. It was found that one of the ACs was making loud noise while running. Neither did they fix the problem nor did they replace till date (03.06.10). A very irresponsible, amateurish attitude. Don't think they will be in business for long especially with so many foreign brands invading the market today.
