NON RECEIPT OF REEBOK SHOES, TRACKSUIT, BAG AND TOWEL
I have to advise that I had received an email from India Today Book Club that they were offering Reebok Shoes, Reebok Tracksuit, bag and towel for an offer price of Rs.2,998/- + shipping charges of Rs.200/=. I had indented for the same and an amount of Rs.3,198/- was paid to them through net banking on 28.1.2009. I subsequently received the items but they were of a different size. I therefore took up the matter with India Today Book Club who advised me to return the parcel with their covering letter. I therefore returned the same on 10.2.2009 through Speed Post vide their docket no. SP EM 249293367 IN. Subsequently I have phoned them a number of times and every time they come out with a standard reply that the complaint has been forwarded to the concerned department for redressal. Even after a lapse of more than 7 months I have yet to receive the items I had ordered for. I have spent lot of money in pursuing the matter on phone but have realised that it is of no use. I have therefore written two registered A.D. letters on 22.06.2009 and 15.07.2009 addressed to The Manager, Customer Relations and Mr. Nitin Sawhney, Business Head, India Today Book Club but so far have not received any reply thereto.
Please therefore look into the matter and advise them to send me the items viz, Reebok Shoes of size 9 and tracksuit of large size alongwith the bag and towel. In case they are not able to send the same, kindly instruct them to return my amount of Rs.3.198/- paid to them.
I would also request you to caution the people at large not the be taken in by such fraudulent companies and that law should be enacted so that such companies do not fleece the unsuspecting customers.

I take this opportunity to voice my grievance with regards to the services rendered by India Today Book Club.
I had purchased a SAMSUNG Star phone from India Today Book Club on Jan 28, 2010 for an amount of Rs 9498. The executive (named Akash spoke on Jan 26, 2010) promised a paid holiday package (accommodation and return air fair for 2 adults and a child) of 2 nights and 3 days along with a Surat diamond voucher worth Rs 20,000. Based on the claims, purchase of SAMSUNG phone was made. When inquired about extending the package for couple of days, the executive offered to do so on a additional payment of Rs 2500. I was also coaxed into buying a Kodak-C-160 9.2 Megapixel camera for Rs 3000 (approx). hence the total amount paid for the purchase of one SAMSUNG Phone and a Kodak Camera was Rs 14796.
It is unacceptable that claims made by organization of such a repute have been fake and fraudulent. After the payment was made, on inquiring in the call centre, the executive denied the benefits claimed by the executive who first interacted with me.
All the forms were duly filled and also sent a demand draft of the amount Rs 999 in the month of Feb as quoted by the team based in B'lore. Based on which I was suppose to get the tickets, which, I am still awaiting.
Such a behavior is totally unacceptable. I have however recorded the conversation of myself with your executive Akash and have attached the voice file for your reference.
Request you to please take immediate action against this and oblige. Look forward to you taking a look into the mater and resolving the same. If the matter does not get resolved at this level, I am extremely sorry to say that i shall be prompted to file a case against India Today Book Club in the consumer court. Kindly do not prompt me to do so.
I wish to receive a reply from your end within two working days (Nov 3, 2010).
Please respect our pleas for us to respect you. Hoping that the matter is resolved at the earliest.

I have ordered a Reebok shoes Set on 12-1-2010 of this year with my order no Order ID ********8 .
The payment has been done online through my credit card but still now I have not recieved any mail nor the material.
I hape you will solve my case positivly and at the earliest
