Sony Ericsson - my horrible experience with sony G502

I have purchased G502 sony ericcson mobile from sony distributor/stockist/dealer/experience store : VENUS ELECTRONICS on 13th August2009 Invoice number: 593
IMEI number:352********0579.

I found that the speaker of the phone and the ringer were faulty(just after 5 days of purchase) and not functioning properly and battery was getting dicharged very often say after 15 to20 minutes of talktime approximately, I visited the service centre on 21st August2009(Work order number: SE 30********6).I had to sit there and wait for two and half hours.

Again within 2 days I found that batteryagain got drained out, I again visited the service centre on 24th August2009(Work order number: SE 30********2).I had to sit there and wait for more than 2 hours and I was told that battery has to be replaced so I should visit the centre at 5.30pm. Again I visited the service centre in the evening (Work order number: SE 30********4) . I wasted one and half hour again.
I had also visited the dealer number of times.

Again within 10 days I found that camera was not working , I again visited the service centre on 8th sept2009(Work order number: SE 30********2).I had to sit there and wait for more than 2 hours . My mobile was repaired and given back.

I have wasted almost three to four days and lot of money behind this.

Now on 9th sept 2009, again I found that camera was not working and battery was getting drained out. I again approched to the dealer and reported the fact, I had also gone to service centre and met Mr. Nilesh/Mr. AshishGoel , I was told that I had to keep my mobile fro almost 15 to 20 days to get it repaired. I was shocked to listen to this. Also I cannot afford to keep my mobile close even for 5minutes. Also this mobile was purchased to replace 2 old mobiles in my company, Also it would not be fair to ask anybody to lend mobile for 20 days.

I had requested the company for a replacement which they shamelessly refused.

I feel it is shameful on the part of company like sony to cheat and harass the customers in this manner.

Iam using mobiles since 1997,I ahd some problems occassionaly, but this was simply horrible.

I had also tried to talk to helpline nos. 1800 111800 couple of times , there was tone of sharp negligence and irresponsibility in their language. I hope they have recorded the conversation.

I SAW SEVERAL INNOCENT PEOPLE AT THE SERVICE CENTRE WHO WERE OPENLY CHEATED AND MISGUIDED AT THE SERVICE CENTRE , CERTAINLY PEOPLE AT SERVICE CENTRE WERE NOT COMPETENT, RESOURCES WERE NOT IN LINE WITH THE NAME AND NATURE OF BUSINESS OF COMPANY, SOME AUTHORITY SHOULD REVIEW THIS , YOU WILL CERTAINLY FIND THE SETUP OF SERVICE CENTRE , QUALITY OF PEOPLE AT SERVICE CENTRE , RESOURCES AND FACILITY , WAY DOWN THAN REQUIRED STANDARDS

HAD THIS HAPPENED IN ANY OTHER COUNTRY SONY WOULD HAVE BEEN HEAVILY SUED AND MADE TO PAY FOR HEAVY COMPENSATION

I would request the company to take back the hand set and refund me the amount.

I support this complaint. i just dono what de hell is the software problem of this mobile is? it just gets hangs every hour or so, each time i visit the sevice centre and upgrade it, final just a week after the warrenty period got over the phone got switched off, and it just didnt get on, when asked to the service centre the just say me the same hell, software problem and they are advicing me to switch over to another phone, is this the quality and constumer care sony offers to its clients, shame on them
