Dear Customer,
Thank you for contacting Sony Ericsson Support Center.
With reference to your email, we understand that you want to know about Ciphering message in your handset. We would like to inform you that Ciphering is a built-in feature that scrambles your calls and messages to provide additional privacy. According to this, it is safe to use your mobile with this function as it makes difficult for others to attack your calls. When ciphering is on by the operator, there will be no sign on your mobile\'s screen. So, we request you to contact your service provider for the same.

I strongly support this complaint. (Complaint by catherine on August 20, 2009, 1:05 pm in Consumer Electronics). How ever i believe that reply from (Wed, 26 Aug 2009 Message from iComplaints.in Helpdesk) is only shows the function of chipering.
As for me, i also having this kind of problem.
But not if i am using a different sim card from other telco.
My point is, can you consult us on how to solve this problem instead of re-directing to other places.
Cheers,
