I am facing a lots of poblem beacuse of the defective piece of laptop being produced by HP , and more problem beacuse of the Ir-responsible persons working for HP.


Complaint: I Purchased a HP Laptop on 03-Aug-2008. It was something which
i wanted to always keep with me as i had purchased it from my first
salary. I felt my dream come true to have a laptop. Other options were
available in the market and that too at a cost much cheaper than this ,
but i wanted to go with HP.
But after few days i realized that i had wasted my money in purchasing a
waste material.
After 2-3 months only it started to make me realize that i made a wrong
use of my first salary.
The laptop was such that you can not keep that on your laptop after it\'\'s
turned on and after 30-40 minutes it stops working.
I contacted the online support and spent my 2 hours but didn\'\'t get a
solution and after that i went to Service center then the series started.
every 2-3 weeks i started facing one or the other problems with my laptop.
Since i am working as a freelancer, i incurred huge losses.

Some times the
laptop failed to boot , sometimes quick launch buttons didn\'\'t work. Every
time i faced the problem the laptop had to be kept in the service center
for at least a week.

The mother board of the laptop was replaced once. till now i had managed
things anyhow.
The laptop never served the purpose for which i had purchased it

The extreme was when the hard disk collapsed.

This time there was a lot of
data of my client and my clients are threatening me of taking me to court.
I managed them anyhow and asked for sometime any contacted the customer
care of HP and they are so irresponsible persons that in spite i told them
all these issues, they didn\'\'t took any action.

I was again sent to
service center and they told me that the hard disk would be replaced , but
i said i want a new laptop as this piece was a defective one.

I again consulted the Customer care and they agreed to escalated this case
to higher level and i was told that i would get a call and till now i
didn\'\'t get a call.

Everyday i used to call the customer care 3-4 times, as if i was not having any other work. and everytime i got the same result that i would be getting a call shortly .

This happened for nearly a month and one day one day i got very angry and thenn the customer care people gave me the mobile number of Rakesh.
He was also like other HP staffs and he said me that he would be sending the staff to collect laptop from my home.
but after 2 hours i was told that it can not be done.I was in office that time and i had to take a
leave beacuse of the ir-responsible behaviour of Rakesh

I put the same complaint in the HP website but that was also of no use.
I went to the consumer court for putting the complaint but then i wanted to have a last word with the customer care.

Then i contacted Upender (So called supervisor of the customer care) he was also like one of the king of employees which HP gives
salary too.

He convinced me not to put complaint as he promised me to give a solution by monday i.e today.

Today also i had to call the customer care but none of the time i was able to contact Upender.
He didnt wanted to talk to me and i was told by other staff that he is in a meeting or not on his desk n will call
me back.
This ir-responsible guy never cared to call me back. Now i want every one to know the treatment a customer is getting from the
HP and it would be my request to everyone not to go with HP.
There are other options available in the market.
Please dont purchase the HP products.
My request to HP managers is please let me know if you people are having any ethics and follow the same while doing business, or you people think customers are fool.

NEVER MAKE THE MISTAKE OF BUYING HP!! THEY SPEND ALL THE MONEY ON MARKETTING AND ZERO ON CUSTOMER SERVICE... I too had a similar problem. It seems this is a design problem in their DV Series of Laptops that causes overheating. They will replace some parts during warranty but the same parts will stop working one by one because of overheating. They are not accepting their mistake. Buy Sony if you have money - or go for Good value laptops from Dell / Acer / Asus. Never choose HP!
