I have recently taken a new Post Paid connection from Airtel Dealer at Kalina( Sanatacruz (E), Mumbai. ( Popular Stores). After providing the necessary identity proofs and address proof and filling up the Application forms, I was given a new Sim card. The card was activated in a couple of days time. Three day later I received a welcom call from Airtel, confirming my Personal details and the Bill Plan that I chose.

Now to my surprise, the outgoing call for the new connection has been disconnected for the last three days. On calling up the Airtel call centre on 03.06.2009, I was informed that I haven\'t submitted the appllication and related documents. Four times I gave a call to the call centre our of which twice my call was abruplty diconnected and and twice I was confimred that I would be called back. Not a single call I have received till date. I have also visited several time the dealer at Kalina. Even he confirms to have sent the forms.

Now I would like to know for the fault of the service provider how can a customer be taxed like this. This is not the first instance it has happend. I have been a Airtel customer for the last 5 years. Last year I have been out of Mumbai for a year and entre the Tamil Nadu circle. I continued using Airtel connection and on my return I have again opted for Airtel connection. Today I regret for taking a Airtel connections as the service level of Airtel has really gone to Dogs in last 5 yrs since I have first been their customer. Mr Sunil Mittal - CEO AIRTEL, should really involve himself and be aware that the poor levels of customer service that his organisation gives.

Airtel really stinks with respect to their services. Big Adds having celebraties as their brand ambasodors is not going to help them .
