I had bad experience while travel to dindigul (April-16\'th) thru PANDIAN Exp. Not only this train, this is happening for all southern trains.
As per IRCTC rules any one of the passenger can carry the ID proof is enough to travel for E-Ticket. The person in railway squad was asking all the ID proofs who are all travelling with me but we all have the proof so no issues but he put a fine of rs-500 for without ID proof who are all not having the proof even a single person in the list had a ID Proof.
I did not see any rules behind this and even they behave worst to the pasengers. He came at 11\'o clk and asking the ID proofs even though the passenger slept. This is happening for 2\'nd class sleepers they wont check in AC compartments.
If it goes like this, people will irritate against railway
No.... Actually the fine which they charged is OK because ur parents did not carry the ID proof. But the complaint is that if any one of the passenger did not carry the ID proof then they are charging the fine as rs-500
I support this complaint. Today for my parents it happen they didnt carry the ID proff so for 2 ppls they have asked to pay Rs 1040 rupee.
Cost of the ticket is 340 and fine for not bring the id is 1040 . Please any of u let me know who should i write this to?
Regards
Krishna
