Onida - False committment by Onida & Dealer

I had purchased 2 Onida Split AC 1.5 ton from one of your dealer in March 2008. At that time Onida had introduced a scheme that if you purchase any AC before ‘X’ date which was a Sunday then customer will get two years comprehensive warranty and 5 years compressor warranty. To avail the benefit I had purchased 2 split AC but till date the dealer Rahul electronics has not given me my warranty card. I am following up with him since last year and he keeps promising but fails to deliver. The reason we bought onida because we were pretty happy with Onida products & prompt service, we have Onida washing Machine, TV and AC too now.

The dealer claims that from last one year he is following up with Onida with someone called as Arif and that guy keeps giving false promises and from last 2 weeks I am following up with Onida but no one is helping me. I have sent series of mails to onida but no revert received till date except from one \'Ravishankar\' who asked me again to consult my dealer, I just spoke to Sayyed the technical Manager but \"\"No will to help\"\" is the policy of Ondia...

Never ever buy any Onida products because the service sucks....

Would request your kind attention on this issue at the earliest and appreciate we I can get my warranty card ASAP.

Hi Ravi,

From last one year the Dealer is fooling me and till date I have not received my warranty card.
I hope to see some positive action taken from the higher authorities. I hope they understand the importance of customer service in today’s world.

I will give equal opportunity to Onida as well but if no resolution received then I will approach Consumer court.

I have the original bill with me but lately when there was some issue with the AC the service engineer highlighted that without the bill we have to pay for any service or parts because he is not aware of any such scheme and they only refer the warranty card. It is really sad that such dealer are spoiling company’s image in market and customer will have never recommend the company or its product.
