This is K Krishna Deepak. I was scheduled for a travel with Dhanunjaya tours & travels from Hyderabad to Bangalore on 10-Feb-2013. Boarding point was Paradise near fire station at 10:30 PM in Hyderabad. I had to wait till 11:30 before I could actually connect to either Dhanunjaya tours customer care or with go-ibibo customer care, as the automatic options took a toll and kept me in an iterative loop for most part of the time,

I Atlast contacted with a lady (don't remember the name) and then subsequently with pranav, both via go-ibibo customer care, I was kept on hold for 19 mins 24 secs for the 1st attempt, and then again 13 mins for the 2nd attempt and some how in the 3rd attempt got this shocker that bus was cancelled!! actually I was ready to pay a differential fare and travel over the air or if some other option was given, but the options given to me where really funny & didn't make a worth/sense to me as I had to reach my office max by 11:00 AM {Hyderabad to Bangalore 11 Hours or 8 Hours over air doesn't make sense at all!!, as bus itself takes 8-9 hrs}. I had to attend a very important meeting on 11th Feb in my company and due to lack of any other alternative during the hour, I had to postpone it to next day(12th Feb).

I got this very polite reply from Mr.Pranav (almost around 12:10 midnight) that there was no alternatives other than providing a full refund from their side. This seemed funny, but I wanted to be polite and did offer for my max co-operation by inquiring regarding the booking of any flights for travel by paying differential amount, which as I earlier stated didn't seem to be practically feasible.

Later, I called up to dhanunjaya tours and travels customer care, & I got the reply that the bus was cancelled and surprisingly my details were from "travel yaari", I thought I booked my ticket with go-ibibo.com, neverthless, they (Dhanunjaya tours) informed me that they sent out the information of cancellation, on 10th Feb before 15:00 pm to respective travel websites for updating the information to passengers.

I had to book a ticket again(green line travels on 11th Feb) and travel 1 day late to my destination.

To Make the matters even worse, the toll-free number mentioned on go-ibibo.com ticket wasn't toll-free, in fact I was cut with 2 INR/- per minute. and I had to catch a cab at midnight from paradise to return to my home which all together billed me for an amount which was much higher than the ticket cost for me from Hyderabad to Bangalore.


I was promised that atleast I would be refunded the ticket amount within 5 working days on Feb 11,2013. There is no further communication in this regard.

I would like to press and make go-ibibo.com or DHANUNJAYA Tours & Travels as respondents for this complaint as there was lack of proper co-ordination in handling the customers. and would expect go-ibibo.com to send out atleast sms's of ticket status as the other travel websites do, like redbus.in or others. and DHANUNJAYA travels for their part of not informing the end-customer atleast in the form of SMS or calling like the other travels do (example: Diwakar travels or Green line travels) . They(Dhanunjaya tours) surely cannot claim they sent info over mail as they said that my ticket was booked through travelyaari when I first called them and again later they said it was from abhibus.com when I called them as a remainder for solving my issue.
