I met in a road accident in which my brand new ciaz car was hit badly from front and even than none of air balloons came out. all the radiators n parts were thrown in but no effect on air vbaloon. I wonder wether they r present in car and wat a worse codition would I have to face if the accident would be more serious. God saved us but maruti should realize the blonder mistake in its car n should be rectified immedietly.

Your car airbag's might be faulty.
But as per my knowledge, any car's airbag work only when the seat belt is used by the driver. If the driver is driving car without wearing seat belt, the air bag of any car (even BMG, Audi or Volvo ) won't open. It's a simple ergonomics. At the time of impact the seat belt holds you back giving time to air bag to open up. Hence a sensor is used with the seat belt for the airbag to activate. It is a common practice not to wear seat belt on highway drive by most people. Hope, my knowledge would help everyone that buying a car with airbag requires you to wear seatbelt all time if you want airbag to open during impact.
