Airtel Telemedia Services - Annoying Customer support and Irresposibility of Airtel

I have purchased an Airtel sim with mobile number ********12 in the last week of February 2009 from a retailer located at Dange chowk, near Wakad Pune after submitting all the required and valid documents which are as follows:

1. Self attested photograph.
2. Identity proof
3. Residence proof

After a few days some executive from Airtel called me on the same number for the verification of the documents, I gave the same information as mentioned in the original documents submitted along with “Airtel Prepaid Enrolment Form”. At that time they didn’t told about any discrepancy.

On 02-Mar-2009 Airtel had sent me an SMS confirming that they have got all my valid documents and thanks for choosing the Airtel.

In the month I got a call to submit the documents again because Airtel had missed them, I requested the executive and told him the whole story, and explained my inability to submit the documents again as there was no Airtel customer Relation office near by, So he told me that he is putting up a request on the server and some other person will give me a call and will personally come and collect the documents again from my residence or from my office.

On 01-May-2009 I found that Incoming and Outgoing services on my number had been stopped.I went to Kondwa ARC but found no one willing to help the customer. Finally I talked to some customer care executive on their HOTLINE, some Ms. Meetal has reconfirmed that They have received the documents and started my services instantly on 05-May-2009. I was totally cut off from all my contacts between these 4 days, and faced the frustration and anger and complaints from all my Colleagues and family members.

Again on 07-May-2009, Airtel has stopped my services. On being contacted to Customer-Care, they had shown their inability to provide any help as the number had got permanently deleted from the database of their system.

After getting Annoyed and harassed I finally dropped en E-Mail to their Nodal officer after talking to some Ms. Kamal from the nodal officer’s office. They also gave the same reply that neither can they reissue me the same number nor can they compensate on the amount present in my account.

After getting apparent reply from the nodal officer, I contacted Appellate officer who is the highest authority as per my knowledge in their problem resolving authorities.
From there also I got the same reply that They can help me on the issue.

Once again I went to nodal officer’s office to personally contact him/her, but the security person Mr. Rane has misguided me, instead of being told that I want to meet nodal officer only and no one below his/her authority can do anything they sent me to VEGA COMMUNICATION at Sadashiv peth, I went there on feet from Swargate and got no help at all.
When reached again at Nodal office at VEGA CENTER Swargate, the Security person Ms. Fareeda Shaikh misbehaved with me and directed me to go to the Court 100s of cases are already pending and they don’t care of any court etc. In this whole drama I have lost my whole day of 16-May-2009.

Because of the above consequence I am facing a lot of problems from last more 10 days. I has got monetarily and mentally harassed by the Airtel and their support system. In these day I had got serious complaints from my Clients, Company, Colleagues and family members, and got the blame of being irresponsible just because of Airtels fault not mine.
