Hi,

At the outset I like to introduce myself as one of the Customer of Tikona Digital Networks, Corpora, Office 3A, 3rd Floor, LBS Marg, Bhandup (West), Mumbai – 400078, Customer care no. 1800 20 90044, 1-800-20-94276, url. : http://www.tikona.in, and my Service ID is 1100677433 residing at 304, Sheetal Plaza Apptt., Mira Bhayandar Road (E), Shivar Garden, Reliance Petrol Pump, Thane – 401107, Maharastra. I had taken one wireless broadband connection in the Month of March 2010 (in between 20 March – 26 March 2010) by paying a cheques of Rupees five hundred (Rs 500.00) only (cheque no 000000850641, HDFC Bank, Kandivili Br., Mumbai).

From the very day, I was not getting any connection on net due to their poor network connectivity. I raise a lots of issues since March 2010 to April 2010, but was unable to get proper services from their end. Even I paid the bill of Rupees one hundred and fifty [Rs 150.00 ie. Rs 650 – Rs 500 (installation charge) = Rs 150.00] only as charged by Tikona for the month of April 2010.

After getting frustrated, I raised another issue (Complain Ref No. : 1-447582966 dated Apr 26, 2010) to close my account and refund my amount for the worst services and the trouble I had faced. I had written a no. of emails to them (following email ids are info@tikona.in, customercare@tikona.in and billing@tikona.in) just to close my account and to refund my money back. But they neither turn round to speak to me nor had they deactivated my connection. Moreover, they are sending me bills and SMS to pay the outstanding (with the entire added amount from April 26 to till date). Every month they are just adding up the amount and forcing me to pay the bills.

Recently their billing department has started threatening me to pay the bill after I denied to pay the same and had strongly resisted against their unlawful demands, that I’m not going to pay a single paise for the services that I had not used. After a strong argument, they told me that they will take care of the complain raised on Apr 26, 2010 Ref No. : 1-447582966 and will close the issue with immediate action and forward the same to their tech team to deactivate my ID and refund my money. But they never had done the same yet and are still sending me the bills and SMS for the payments. Today also their customer care called my wife and told her to pay the bill.

Moreover, I had already returned their modem/CPE in well condition to their representative Mr. Shaikh Naseem Ahmed, Mobile No. : +91 ********39 in the Month of July 2010 (photocopy is attached to this letter).


I raise this issue on this platform earlier also but nothing happened yet. Please check the similar thread

Sir,

I got a new wireless Broadband connection from Tikona in the month of March 2010 but since then I was not able to get proper connectivity. I called their customercare and register a no. of complain. But they didn't turn arround to solve it. After that on April 26, 2010, I ask them to disconnect the connection and refund my paid amount. Since then they started sending sms to pay the bill for the month of April, May though I have paid till April 2010. After writing a strong mail against their negative respond, they stop sending me mails and sms for paying bills.

It was ok till July. Suddently they started sending me the bills again from the month of July with all the added amount from April 26, 2010 till June 25, 2010. I called them again, they assured me that it will be taken care from next month. I've also return their modem (router). But on Aug 01, 2010 they have send me the bills again for the bill period June 26 2010 to July 25, 2010 added with the previous outstanding.

They are simple charging me for the services that I'm not using. Please need your help to resolve the problem.

Tikona is really a fraud company, after suffering for one year with their internet connectivity i decided to disconnect the connection so i called the customer care on 7th sept 2012 they told me that it will take 45 days for the disconnection process. I don't know for disconnection why 45 days are required, this is sure a cheating policy of tikona. In this 45 day they will send the false bills to the customer and are asking to pay the bills if they want to disconnect the Tikona internet connection. If the customer not pays the bill they will keep sending new bills to the customer.

My advice to all users if they feel cheated and is harass by the Tikona then we should come together and log a cheating complaint against TIKONA in the Bhandup police station. I mention Bhandup police station because Tikona main office is in Bhandup.
