I had bought Nokia 6700s recently and got it damaged in rains. I brought it to Nokia care center in Ajmer on 19th July 2010. (Job Sheet No. 5474, ASC:519_434038) There was so much chaos at the centre that you cant even know where to go...no signs..no directions. But somehow i managed to get my cellphone to the right person and get it diagnosed.
I was told that it will take 10 days get the phone repaired as parts are needed to ordered. That was fine with me. They told me that i would get a call when phone is repaired.
But after 10 days there was no call. so i inquired and i was told that due to TECHNICAL problems parts have not reached and it will take another 10 days. All i could say was OK.
Then another 10 days later, i called back. i was put on hold for 10 min and i could overhear that they have not ordered the parts yet. Well, now they need 15 more days to get my phone repaired.
Finally i got a call on 28th aug 2010 that my phone is ready. After 41 long days i saw my phone again. There were few scratched on back of the phone but i ignored them. But as soon as i switched it on, i found black dot on LCD screen. I told the person there and again i was circling around one desk to another. I was bluntly told that it cant be repaired. I had to PERSUADE him to get it repaired.
Another 5 days were supposed to be needed to get the job done and i find myself again into that circle of 5 more days because after 10 days, i am again asked for 5 more days.
I just want to know how much patience do Nokia people expect from me. If this is how you service your customers, no wonder nokia has lost a lot of market share.
Well, one thing is sure, I am never going to buy a Nokia again even if my life depended on it.
