I am a service personal with a more than 7 yrs. of saving account (DSP A/C No. 0435020400624282) at PNB. My 6 yrs. tenure of account was at urban branches of PNB which provided good services at Sri Ganganagar and BB Cantt. Srinagar. Now I have transferred my account at above said branch (PNB Khanda Kheri (Hisar)) nearby my village which is located at rural area. Bank staff of this branch is corrupted and didn't response to normal account holders. The bank manager & staff is totally focused on 'Krishi Credit Card Loan Applicants' through bribe agents of nearby villages which are linked to this branch (such as Khanda Kheri, Ugalan, Bhaklana, Dhram Kheri, Khera Rangran, etc.).
I visited to this branch on Dec 02, 2014 to issue a Cheque book and to get a personal loan. I met to the staff and the branch manager for this purpose. The branch manager said that "I will not be able to attend you today because I am going somewhere. You do one thing, come back again later and we will process your loan within one day." I again visited the branch with the required documents on Dec 26, 2014 and requested to give me a loan form as I have only two days of leave left. During the morning time I have also displayed my documents to the branch manager for verification. At the same time he replied that your documents are all right but I am going somewhere, you come again tomorrow. Next day I requested him to give me a loan form. They didn’t attend me till 14:30 hours. After 14:30 they gave me a loan form but they told me that my documents are not complete they can’t proceed to my loan. During the three days of my visit I observed that the bank staff including the bank manager was only attending the Krishi Credit Card loan applicants through bribe agents. I didn’t get my cheque book as well as the loan.
In view of the above it is requested to kindly look into the matter of corruption at the branch and search for the bribe agents through vigilance team and take the necessary action for the public grievance.
