My sister had gone to take prepaid connection connection from Vodafone store located near Shivarnjani crossroad. There executive Ms. Pragati intentionally gave her 2 post-paid connection instead of prepaid connection and took Rs 600 for 2 connection instead of Rs 75/ connection required for prepaid connection. Best part they didn't even gave her copy of bill for Rs 600 they took. She transferred all money to m-pesa and said the amount will be settled in next billing. She intentionally didn't explained anything about prepaid connection and she fooled my sister. She even made my sister sign the documents on my behalf. I came to know in evening but before any verification they activated the sim card from there end and I got a message that I should dial their customer care no. to activate.
When I visited their store next day I told them that wrongfully they have given me postpaid connection and they should give me prepaid instead but they said the money I had paid Rs 600.00 will not be refunded and I have to go for new prepaid connection. Despite requesting them again and again they didn't agreed. When I called their store manager Mr. Divyang he also spoke to me in bad language and didn't hear my problem.
I feel cheated is it the way customers are handled in this country they fool innocent people they didn't even let my sister fill the form so she could know which connection she was applying Ms. Pragati only told her to sign the form on my behalf which is also wrong. How did they activated the no. without verification of documents. And when I had not activated the sim they could have easily cancelled the connection and adjusted my money in new connection but instead Mr. Divyang got abusive with me ..
