I purchased a Roti maker from “India times shopping†website (Brand : Delta, order number: 3002680728). Horrible experience – I shop online regularly, never faced these issues with an ecommerce company – This experience has been terrible. Inefficient staff, faulty products, poor customer service, turnaround time sucks, agent promises to call but never calls, don’t ask about he supervisor (Komal) – most unhelpful. Feels like I was dealing with a bunch of morons.
• Delivery date was later than promised (about a week late)
• Opened the box to test the roti maker and it was dead on arrival – absolutely no power at all, completely dead machine.
• Called customer care and they said someone will call you in 24 to 48 hours – never called – I had to follow up.
• Courier would call every day and never come to collect the part.
• I had to stay at home for two complete days without going to work to realize that the courier will not come.
• Calls to the courier company made no good.
• I called customer care and spoke to Komal (supervisor), she said a replacement part would be sent in the next 15 day – this was a gift and I couldn’t wait for another 15 days, I asked her to raise a refund – she agreed and I bought another roti maker from flipkart.
• Courier finally arrived on the 19th and collected the part – Airway number: 11569244 – company – Ecom express.
• I called customer care today and spoke to dixit, to realise that it’s not a refund and my complaint is still under progress.
It’s been more than a month that you have my money – Can you please explain as to what is happening ??? Is there no one responsible here, I’ve wasted my time and money coz of your inefficiency. I need my money back and need to be compensated for the trouble. I’m writing this email to the highest level that I know at India times shopping, I’ve also posted this on my Facebook profile., I asked my friend never to buy anything on this site. I will post the same on all social networking sites.
