I bought Blackberry 8830 from Indiatimes on June 9 ,2011. The product had to be collected by me from the courier agency ARAMEX office in Bangalore, despite several phone calls when no body came to deliver the product.
The product was a substandard refurbished phone, when I had oredered a new phone . My order number was 113042120 and my name is Ankur Magan. The keyboard of the phone had scratches and the voice dialling did not work . Considering I had no spare phone I decided to use it , after 2 months of use the track ball stopped working . When I tried to use the hands free , it broke off as soon as I opened it.
I reported this problem to Indiatimes via complaint number 339696 on 28th September 2011. My phone was replaced within one week and I received the replacement on 4th October . To my surprise , the replacement was a used phone again and even had the contacts of the previous person (name Sunaina) who used the phone . There was no USB port in the box , the hands free was crap used by some person and not of blackberry origin . The screen panel of the blackberry has dust inside and is coming out .
Indiatimes Shopping is a big Fraud company sellingrefurbished substandard products. I complaint for this product and now they are saying that the order cant be cancelled , moreover the product has a 6 month Vendor warranty . I want to claim damages and receive my money back.
