I have started travelling WR since 2 months and not a day has gone by without the trains being 12-15 minutes late even for a distance of 10 km between dadar and parle.
they always arrive on time at both stations and go at a pace of a tortoise!
Harbour and central are so much better.
Like Europe, Uk - trains should go from station to station with out stopping especially if there just 0.5km or 1km distance between them!
WR stops before, at and after a station...no clue why
Today 941 from parle arrived 11 minutes late, although the previous train was 0929 ie 12 minutes before so there cannot be traffic ahead
Today's newspapers report that the Western railway has proposed around 47% increase in First class suburban railway season tickets. THE WESTERN RAILWAY IS LOOTING COMMUTERS. PLEASE STOP THIS INJUSTICE - SCRAP THE PROPOSAL.
IF THE RAILWAYS ARE IN LOSS (SO-CALLED LOSS !!!!!!), SOMEBODY NEEDS TO TELL THAT "INEFFICIENT & BIASED" WESTERN RAILWAY MANAGEMENT TO IMPLEMENT THE ANTI-SPITTING DRIVE SERIOUSLY AND ALL LOSSES WILL BE WIPED OUT !!!!!!!!!
Absolutely I agree with this person. It sometimes gets very frustrating travelling in the western railway local trains - with the trains going slow or stopping in-between stations without any reason. And this is a daily occurence.
When shall we see trains moving from one station to the other station WITHOUT STOPPING OR SLOWING IN BETWEEN ? The western railway should learn from the central railway !!!!
Its year a still the same problem after crossing santacruz towards villeparle it runs like a snail or take a halt ..Always reaching late at Andheri station during morning peak hours.
If if by mistake we board train after 10 am from dadar then have enough time in hand as you will feel like your journey is from virar to andheri and not dadar to andheri kind of sweet time it takes.
It might be a genuine issue wester railway must be working on it..but its take more then a year to sort the issue out is justified time ??
Hope that it get resolve before 2017 ends..
