LG Electronics India - LG Service Department Not Responding

Hi,

I am writing this mail to bring to your Notice about a Painful Experience I am going through with the Service Department of LG India PVT Ltd. I have an LG LCD TV which stopped working. I launched a Complaint in the Service Department of LG on 18th March 2011. The Complaint Number for the same is RNA0318071754. A Service Executive landed at my Home Place on 22nd March 2011, Please note I expected my TV to get repaired by this time, and he landed after 4 days of launching my complaint.

I informed Him that I have taken an AMC for 3 years from LG on my TV and I have paid 6000 INR extra for the same, he checked my papers and re-confirmed. He said one of the parts called "A Module" is not working and needs to be replaced. I asked him when it can be done, and he said it will take 2-3 days, I said can I get a Fixed date, as the Word Cup is on the way and I just have 1 TV at Home, He replied saying that there is nothing He can do, it'll take time, so let us be patient.

On 26th I called Service Department of LG again as I never heard from them after that, and they replied that, the part will be replaced ASAP. After having no response still, I got frustrated and called LG service again on 28th March, and spoke to a Manager on floor , named Aditya, and he promised me that The TV will be repaired by next day for sure.

Following day nothing happened, I then called LG again, and to my Surprise Aditya was on an OFF that day, I then took the Cell Phone Number of a "Customer care Officer" of LG named Sapna, I called her and explained her my situation and She connected me with Vikas over the Cell phone , Who was the Manager-Services at LG. he assured me on 29th March that the TV will be repaired in couple of days as the Part is not available and It will comes in a days time.

I didn't hear from Vikas after that...No Response...Finally The World Cup Got Over, To My Utter Frustration, I then called Vikas on 3rd April again, Just to hear that He still don't have the part, as the Shipment came but didn't had the part called "the Module" so I will have to wait. I made a Final discussion with Sapna and Vikas on 5th April before deciding to write this Mail here, and the Final Word that they gave me was , That my TV cant be rep[aired before 12th April 2011. I asked them is 12th SURE? they replied they'll do their Best but there is nothing that they can do.!!

I hope you Guys' can sympathies with me that even after taking an AMC for 3 years, spending 6000 INR more, I have to wait for 20 days, Just to get another Deadline and I have no idea that Even that commitment will be fulfilled.!!

I am looking for alternate ways now to get my problem resolved, I feel Cheated by the LG Customer care Department, and I want a Solution.!! And YES LG needs to find a WAY Out to Compensate me for the PAIN I have gone through so far. !!
