LG mobile P-715 (L7 II Dual) went dead spontaneously within 6months of usage.
- The authorised service centre (ASC) informed that the mother board is gone bad and needs replacement.
- Even after 10 days I am informed the part is NOT available in stock even at their centre depos located at Thane and Noida.
- Got information from other ASC in Pune that they too have ordered 11 motherboards of the same model but are unavailable in stock.
- So many handsets facing same problem means the company's R & D dept should get it tested and pull back the model from the markets.
- Tried to search LG official website for some Customer Grievance Redressal Forum, but didnt find any, no appellate authority, neither on Indian website nor on International website.
- All they have mentioned is a call centre number which turns out to be only a tech support and advise only on how to use any LG device.
- A message form, which doesn't work at all, the pop-up menus to select category doesn't pop-up at all.
- All I somehow managed to get is the ASMs number who again asked me to wait another 4days.
- And also got an email id , wherein I emailed my complaint and in reply I was informed that they have forwarded the message to the concerned branch office. This didn't help in anyway since it ultimately went to the same ASC where my mobile was yet lying on their tables for repair.
- All of this goes not only for LG mobiles but any electronic products of LG since they have the same common website with no option to post any complaints to higher authorities.
- Either the repair should be done sooner or straight away the device should be replaced. This way the company may take weeks and months to repair the handset, what sense does that make?
- Anyways the motherboard replacement would result in every component to be new except for the body case and the battery, then what's the big loss in replacing the whole handset? Alright don't give me the new battery but atleast the handset....
- This could also mean the company is forging warranties and doesn't will to provide any kind of after sales service.
- Only option left is these forums, media, and consumer courts.

Complainant's Goal: Either the handset be repaired sooner or it be replaced with a new handset.

I bought a LG G4 (IMEI No.351********1370) phone from a store in New Delhi on 27/10/2016. The set is in warranty period. The phone has stopped working twice in the span of one month. The first time I gave it the authorised service station at Nehru Place ((Elcom Trading Co.) who kept it for 4 days and returned it to me on 12/08/16. Within 2 days it again developed the fault and had to be taken to the service station. This time after waiting a long time citing lack of parts they received my set at the LG brand store at South Extension on 23/08/16 and keep saying that they will give it the next day. Under these circumstances it is highly unfortunate that a new set which is high end phone and cost above Rs 40,000 is being repaired again and again. In these conditions the company should be replacing the phone as I am being left without a phone for days on end.
