I am having a front loading IFB washing machine . Around three months back I observed a lot of vibration in the machine especially during the spin function . I registered a service request on IFB toll free number . A service engineer from the local service centre came to check the machine and informed that there was a problem in the bearing & bush and that the whole steel drum would require replacement . Although I was not convinced I went ahead with this major repair on the assurance given by the service engineer that the machine would work perfectly after changing the drum and the bearing . He even gave me reassurance that machine would work without any problem for at least two years and gave me his mobile no. in case of any problem. I paid him Rs 3000/- for the repairs.
Since one week I again observed the same vibration in the washing machine . I again called up the service engineer to tell the problem. The service engineer visited my residence today i.e 18.11.11 and has conveyed that there is a problem with the shockers now and that they would require replacement . The repair charges for the same would be Rs 1400/- .
I feel cheated by the level of service provided by IFB as the machine has developed the same fault within three months even after assurance given by their service engineer.
