I frequently fly to China for work and I usually carry my Indian number, but this time I thought of using a uniconnect international sim card.  I read about their international plans being cheaper and better and according to them convenient as well. So I got myself 2 sim cards from them. It was such a disastrous experience with these guys. Of the 2 sims that I bought, 1 did not register on any network despite several calls to their customer care. The second sim card however worked, but quite erratically. Calls would get dropped mid conversation or the network would be so poor that you could barely understand the person the phone. After spending so much money on it, it turned out to be a total waste and unreliable. I would have rather used my delhi number.
