BlackBerry India - I am not satisfied with Blackberry - Redington service

I had bought blackberry 8220 on 13th July 2009 from a reseller in Bangalore with IMEI number 35********39042. A few days back, it’s Bluetooth stopped working, so I went to show it to a Redington outlet on Monday 8th of March in Kanpur, which is my place of stay right now. Wherein, my phone was taken and I was told that it would be sent to Bangalore. And I was not issued a stand by phone for the time that Blackberry will take to fix the problem. And I have not been issued a stand by phone till now stating that the orders will come from Bangalore about the same and they have received any notification about it. So, in all, I am left with no phone for the past 8 days for no fault of mine.

Please look into the matter and kindly try and arrange for a stand by phone at the earliest. Ideally, I should have been given a stand by set on the spot because it’s not my fault that the phone has features not working. But right now, I am suffering for having bought the blackberry phone.

Also, I’ve been promised a time of 20 days to get my phone fixed/replaced. Please make sure this time line doesn’t extend as well. If it takes more time, please let me know right away. I am really disappointed at the service levels of the company and please make sure this doesn’t happen in future. No phone for I don\'t know how many days. This shouldn\'t be allowed to go on.

I had bought blackberry Tourch and it went fault because of water got inside. I went to redington services center of blackberry they said they will send it to blackberry services center and let me know the price to get it repaired. After few days I got a call from service center executive that my handphnoe is completey dameged and it can't be repaired. Only possibiliti to get it repaired by replace the complete board which will cost me any were between 20000 to 25000 which is not acceptable to me and withdraw the phone from the serivces center. Then I visited one my friend how know's a services center where these problem can be taken care. And you would't believe it my phone got repaired only for 1200 Rs. .
All I wanted to say there is the Redingtorn is not at all a god service center. Any way I am going against backberry to Consumer Court for the problem I have faced from Backberry Center.

My personal Experience don't Buy Blackberry they don't have customer support , after sales help channel

I have purchased the phone just couple of days ago and regarding the issue I have with hardware of phone ...I have no where to go to ...the toll free number does not work ..I got the DOA from the authorised service centre as well but the the seller is saying that I have to wait a week to get the replacement.

I am stuck in a rut and have wasted money on something not worth it.

I support this complaint. just now in my phone one key has come off and even though it is under warranty they hv refused to accept it first and then they are refusing standby phone

I support this complaint. and same happened with me, i had purchased similar phone 8520 curve model on 13/06/2010. but just after a month its display got blank in afternoon whike traveling , I had been ask to go the service center at okhla and is very far from my place...then i found a outsourced company redington was taking care of only charger battery and software problems, for my complain they asked to submit my cell,and that will be sent to Bangalore, if it will in under warranty, then only it means it should be not broken or should not be wet internally..otherwise you have to pay 730 Rs and you will get unrepaired mobile back after waiting period of 20 days...its very high pathetic service offered by blackberry...i think he should remove his product from the market...if he wants to act like this way.
