Dear Sir/Madam,
Recently our company tried to book some 56 tickets for our employees to Udupi from Yesvantpur for train no. 16523 and 16524 (return) by trying to avail the bulk booking facility provided by the Indian railways. We had all the proper documentations that were required and we did not (i repeat "we did not") seek any form of concession on the said travel.
as per the requirement we checked for the seat availability, which was over 270 at the time of request, and we were ready to meet all and any expenses that would be part of the specified tariff.
However, In the name of some new policy, our request was rejected and we were not allowed booking.
The employees who dealt with this were brazenly harsh and did not accommodate any pleas we made.
Irrespective of the policy, if we were not asking for any concession, how difficult was it for the commercial branch people to provide us permission for the said request ?
And what policy restricts the Indian railways from providing us permission when all our objectives were crystal clear, We were ready to meet any and every expenses that would have been incured and we had all the proper documents to support the genuinity of our colleagues ?
