Catonment Board Dalhousie Cantt. Banikhet - Unreasonable Toll tax

Toll tax barrier of Cantonment Board Dalhousie Cantt. at Banikhet has been shifted recently from Banikhet market area to a location beyond NHPC project road. This has been done by M/s Amar Singh & Co in connivance with Himachal State Police and Cantonment board to collect money even from vehicles taking turn towards Khairi and even vehicles going to J & K through Khairi road. These vehicles are not even entering Dalhousie cantonment area but are being forced by the goons of M/S Amar Singh & Co to pay toll tax. Assam Rifles authority and Himachal Govt should initiate an enquiry into the matter and should stop collection of such irrational toll tax.

I am a permanent resident of Chamba, even to go home, I will pay tax and listen to their threats.This is a kind of hooliganism in the name of tax.Those whom the tax collectors know, they let them go from there silently and I have seen this with my own eyes.I want the local government to pay attention to this matter and some solution should come out.
