AIRCEL - Unnecessary harrasment

From the Aircel Customer Care one dialer tumne has been automatically activated. When I contacted with Customer Care Executive she told me that it is a marketing strategy. If I am not interested in any type of dialer tune then why it is forcefully activated into my mobile? For that subscription charge is also deducted & to deactivate this service I have to send SMS for which I had to pay again. Why this unenecesssary harrasment?

I support this complaint. I also have been suffering since last 4 months. why should I send caller tune deactivation message every month and every time u will activate it? Customer care says u have activated the service. And its bengali song which i never listen.
I think you are doing necessary changes in database to show the customer is requested for caller tune and deletes any deactivation requests and I cannot do anything as every thing is in ur hand. So I am the fool. I will quit if action is not taken within 5 days and go for another provider My no. is ********04
Customer care representative Mr. Susanta Mondal also refused to provide any help and docket no. but instead said his name and told me whatever action u can take against me, take it.
ONe Solution _ GO FOR DND ACTIVATED SIM eg AIRTEL

I support this complaint. I have a simmilar experience with aircel wherein dailer tune was activated without consent/knowledge, it took 10 days for aircel to deactivate the dailer tune after repeated call, email and faxes but the refund is not been done as of today, more to my surprise the connection was barred from yesterday the customer care says that they have'nt recieved the documents yet, but i have submitted all the documents that is required i' am puzzzling to know for whos mistake i'am paying for, again the customer care answer's in their own style that i should go to one of their centers and submit the documents again and on receipt they would activate the number within 48 hours, what a remarkable customer service and attitude aircel has, well if aircel have to pay their price for such an action who could stop them. Finally i have approached an attorney to file a suite on them, you know what aircel is going to pay ? 5 lac's thats the compensation i' am filling.

my name gagan . i take aircel prepaid connection . and i never activated dialer tune.but aircel people always charge me for dialer tune. which i never activatd . this is reallly foolish many time i call them but i not get any kind of response . they provied me fake compain no . never work on my compain last time asusewell i rechrge with 50 rupees . and they automatically deducted 30 rupee like they always wait for customer rechare like as poor people. waiting for money . i never get any kind of response. my # ********06 if any aircel employee want to my help so plz refund my money .its really plesure for me. i m helpless becoz i want to keep this no. other wise i want to close....plz help me out

Dialer tune is an automated service and hence need user confirmation to be activated, it can happen when you respond to the promo calls or messages which is probably has happened in your case. I would suggest you to get your DND service activated.
