To whoever it may concern
I bought a Sony xperia Z ultra handset on 24/11/2014 with a warranty period upto 24/11/2015. Today(06/04/2015) while travelling to my office when I took out my phone from my pocket I was shocked to see that there were some cracks on the surface of the glass(Not in LCD,only glass) without any simple physical contact with any hard thing even and the touchpad of the phone was not working but display was coming properly.Fine, I went to the closest service center(RashBehari,Kolkata) this afternoon and told everything, and within 2 minutes they concluded to me that this is a non repairable handset and they offered me a 20% discount if I buy another sony mobile from them in return of this handset, although I had almost 7 months of warranty still remaining. I mean why the hell I will buy another handset from a company which is potentially stealing my 22,000 Rupees . They told that this is a physical damage and they don’t support physical damage. I asked them please show a sign of physical damage, but they could’t and they even couldn’t tell me why this handset comes under Non-repairable clause. You people think that every customer is fool, but actually they are not because I have read multiple complaints of Xperia z,z1 etc same as mine over various blogs in internet. They have faced the same issue.I mean how do you guys sell a phone telling it has got shatter free/gorilla glass or whatever.Your product is even more fragile than the local company handsets, I must say that they even last long.I know these words will not affect you guys much, and you will just don’t bother to read it even so I am writing my below words in bold:-
Neither will buy any sony product in my whole life and nor will I let my friends/relatives/anyone I know buy it.I have mailed this to your India address and I will write this same story over several blogs over internet so that I can take down your sales atleast by 0.00000000000000001% also if it is possible.Nice to use it.
