Citibank - Misusage of Credit Card

Hello Team,

This is AppaRao Karlapati. Today I received the following message to my mobile:

124.49 AUD was spent on your Citi Credit Card ending 5546XXXXXXXX6832 on 13-SEP-17 at Ad Tech B.V. FX rates and charges as per T&Cs. Your available credit limit now is Rs. 137,871.32. View all your card details instantly, with Citi Mobile. Click http://citi.asia/INMBOLCCD to download.

I stay in Bangalore,India and I haven't swiped or used it outside the country.

Today 13-SEP-17 morning I spoke to CITIBANK agent and raised a serious concern regarding the above "message" as soon as I received. I also blocked the card to avoid further transactions.

The following 2 Points is of big concern to me:
1. Is the CitiBank Credit card I am using is not secure enough to filter such unlawful transactions.
2. I don't want the transaction to be added to my billing cycle. Please make necessary actions immediately to avoid crediting the money to the merchant. Also donot allow transactions other than Rupees(INR).

Please reply to this mail and keep me informed about the transactions.

I also got the same message today and blocked my Citi card.

Informed to citibank customer care
They blocked card issued New card
Is it this amount will revert bank to account?

I think this has become common among all Citibank CC holders.I got the same message and my card no. starts with 5546.I went ahead and blocked my card.

I got the same message Last Sunday for AUD 124.89 for same Adtech B.V..

Citibank has blocked my card. Reissuing new card.

This is purely citi bank issue........
