I do late shifts these days, i stay at Virar, the 1.21 am Virar local train which i catch from Borivali everyday reaches on
time at borivali station ie: 1.21 am and arrives most of the time on the 1st platform at Borivali station, however
before this Virar train there are two bhayander trains (timed 1.07 am and the other one at 1.15 am)leaving from the same
platform, which i dont think is needed(one train should be more than enough as the trains are mostly empty) when there
are very few trains for virar after 11 pm , believe me or not this train which arrives at Borivali station at 1.21
am takes about 25 to 30 minutes just to reach bhayander just because there are two bhayander trains ahead of us which needs
parking for which it takes(long) time, so for this why is the Virar train suffering , this is happening everyday ,its
just not easy to bear it everyday , once in a while everyone can understand but everyday ????? !!!!!!??????, the train
does, reach on time in Virar if it travels on a different track so why dont they do this everyday when the tracks are
free everyday at this time , the train should ideally take 35 minutes to reach Virar from Borivali station, but if you
travel by this train it takes about 55 minutes to 1 hour everyday , Sir you wont believe but i have seen people banging
the drivers compartment ,also hitting the compartment with legs and hands using abusive words , to be honest its not
their fault or the drivers fault (he is just obeying signal), anybody would do that ,even i would do this ,now imagine
a person staying away from home for many hours wants to reach home as soon as possible after work, by the time i
reach virar at home its almost 2.45 am or sometimes its even 3.00 am , one more thing i would like to add to this , i
have also seen sometimes before we could reach Virar station there is the new yard built for local trains ,between Virar
and Nalasopara , the interestig thing is after 11 pm everynight when the local trains are to be sent back to this yard for
service or parking there is special arrangement done for the drivers , let me tell you - this drivers, after they have
parked the train in the yard, they wait for coming train to take them back to virar station, seeing these i had questioned
the driver at the Virar station once and the answer he gave was - its all done by the railway master and they have stop
the train for the drivers , so this means they can halt the train which has more than 500 people for about ten minutes
for just one or two driver(s) the place is again very dark, lonely, anyone could attack, steal, don't you find this
illegal and scary, please help , thankyou , expecting positive response from you, yours sincerely, Ojas .
