My ex-husband had taken my son for the visitation rights as per the court order. But this morning while he took him, he threatened me with foul language and was in a bad temperament. Concerned about my son't safety, I went to the Byappanahalli police station to lodge a complaint for my son's safety. The police asked me wait till the Inspector arrives and made me wait for hours there. The Inspector did not anyway appear and one sub-inspector names Mr.Manjunath came in. Before he came to the station, i had to narrate my story to all the people who worked there. Once again when i narrated the story to this sub-inspector, he asked me to get order copy from the court. I went back home and arrived at the station with the order copy, just to see that the sub-inspector was not there and i had to again wait for an hour. Tired I went o Commissioner of police, Infantry road, to register my complain. There i was no allowed to enter the premises saying it is a Sunday and there are no officers to listen to my story.
Such is the ill fate of we the citizens of India. All I was advised to do was sit and wait till my son is returned to me and only if any kind of harm was done to my son, they were ready to acknowledge.
Should I wait for the bad to happen and then fight?
