I had booked 2 mobile phones and a webcam online from www.timtara.com on 15/11/2012. I had made a payment through netbanking for Rs 12687.36. The shipping was to be done in 3 weeks. However I called to cancel my order on 23/11/12. The agent informed me that he has raised a request and I will be contacted in 48 hrs and after that in 7 days I will receive my refund. I did not receive any call back. I again called on 27/11/12. Here another advisor mentioned the same however he asked me to put the request online which I did. The Order status was still showing as Awaiting Shipment for all 3 order. I did not receive any call back. This same repeated on 30/11/12 where I was asked to wait till 7th and then it will be cancelled and I will receive my refund in 7 days. I again called on 10/12/12 only to find out that it is not yet cancelled. The advisor said that he will raise a cancellation request and I will receive a call back in 48 hrs. I did not receive any call back. I again called on 14/12/12 requesting to speak to a supervisor. The agent refused to get a manager stating that managers/supervisors don’t take calls. He hung up on me. I called in again and spoke to a female advisor named Naina who said the same and placed another complaint request for call back from the concerned department in 48 hrs. Finally on 20/12/12 the status changed to payment refund pending. I have been calling and emailing timtara regularly to get my money back but I have still not received any call back yet. Everytime they promise a call back but they never call. I have not yet got my money back. According to their cancellation policy I can cancel the order before it is shipped and get my money back within 7 days but that is not happening.
