IndiGo Airlines - OnTime Performance IndigoAirlines fail to resolve loyal customer complain ontime

Dear Sir / Madam,

I am a frequent flyer with Indigo since the time of inception of airlines. I had traveled on my vacation from Hyderabad to my home tome Bokaro Steel City via Kolkata on 21st May, 2010, booking reference no. T4YWLB and had a return flight on 30th May, 2010, booking reference no. G58NCI. The nearest airport from home town is Kolkata where the services of indigo flight is operational. On 29th May, 2010 evening to board the airlines for 30th May, 2010 Morning when I started from my hometown I came to realise that all trains got cancelled because of Naxal attack and had no option but to take the road route to reach Kolkata on-time. To my sudden surprise the municipal elections in West Bengal for 30th May, 2010 had created jams at several places on my way to board the flight. As a result of which I couldn\'t board the flight 6E350 on 30th May, 2010.

Post which i went to Indigo\'s ticketing counter and explained the situation to the concerned Indigo customer service executive at Netaji subhash chandra bose International Airport (Domestic Departures Section), Kolkata. I asked the concerned executive to put me into another Indigo flight to Hyderabad (as i haven\'t availed the services and is willing to avail) and would pay the differential amount accrued due to the unforseen problem beyond the control of either of the party but the executive denied to provide any Indigo ticket to Hyderabad and said \"you may look for any other airline other than Indigo\". Though the tickets were available through counter sales, but the same was not offered to me (I don\'t know the reasons(why???) for the same).

Thus an avid Indigo traveller had no other option but to miss the much accalimed on time performance travel with Indigo. Indigo claims to be on-time performance airlines but lacks to resolve customer problem on-time.

This incidence has left me in dismay on the much acclaimed on-time performance airline and proves that customer brand loyalty is of no -use when every organization is trying to focus on customer loyalty. This is a unique incidence which occured with me and had left me with no-other option but to bring to your notice of the ill-treatment to the loyal customer.

Request you to kindly look into the matter and facilitate me with resolution of refund / credit for future travel / rebooking onto an alternative Indigo Flight at no additional cost keeping in view of my loyalty to avail the service of Indigo. The above sitution is forced in nature and should be treated differently.

Looking forward to unbiased judgement on the above subject.
