In Udaipur, I have one Aquagaurd and covered under Annual Maintenance Contract(AMC) for 2 years from 8.8.2009 to 07.08.2011 for which advance amount of rs. 1850/- has been paid to them.
Under AMC they have to replace Carbon twice a year and pre-filter Candle once a year. They have a service franchisee M/s Sangam Service at Udaipur who's services are very poor. This was brought to the notice of Udaipur branch office of Eureka forbes but not action.
The complaint is they have last replaced the candle on 8.8.2009 and next was due on or before 8.8.2010. The candle was not replaced by them and complaint lodged on 20.10.2010 vide no. 168 with Franchisee and complaint no. 1129 with Branch office. As per norms the complaint should be attended on the same day but they don't have stock with them.
Candle replaced on 29th Oct 2010 and in the meantime I have made numerous call to them inclusive area office at Jaipur but neither they have taken any step to resolve the issue nor attending my calls. The staff of Sangam has behaved very rudely. This is a fraud they have committed by taking advance amount against AMC and not giving services in time.
Due to their negligence and service fault, my family (4 members) had to consume dirty water with the expiry date candle for about 3 months. I have sent one registered letter dated 2.11.2011 to head office, branch office & area office to compensate my family by Rs. 12 lacs (1 lac per member for 3 months) to put our health and life in danger by consuming dirty water due to their negligence, but till date I have not received any reply from them.
