Timtara.com - I have got neither the product nor any refund

I would like to inform you that I have placed the following order on Timtara.com (M/s Infosecure Consulting Pvt. Ltd., B-26 Second Floor, Sector 8, Noida. Uttar Pradesh -201301, India) on 20.02.2012:

Order No. : 10194899
Transaction Id : 10088115
Product Name : Inalsa Easy Cook Induction Cooker Top
Quantity : 1 (One)
UNIT PRICE : Rs 2599
Payment by Prepaid Voucher : Rs 700
Payment by Credit card : Rs 1899

I have got the order confirmation mail from Timtara.com and it confirms that the product will be delivered within 15 working days after placing the order (please see Annexure-I).

I have also got successful transaction confirmation mail from payment gateway i.e. ccavenue.com (Please See Annexure-II).

On 23.02.2012, I have got a mail from Timtara.com confirming the order as “Awaiting Shipment” (Please See Annexure-III).

But when the product was not delivered within the time limit, I contacted several times with Timtara.com by sending mails (Please See Annexure-IV) and also over phone to get in touch with customer support for the updated status of the said order. I have also requested them many times for either delivery of the product or refund of money.

Initially they have asked for more time for delivery of the product (Please See Annexure-IV) and after a long time they have cancelled the order and informed me that refund will be made within 5-6 working days (Please See Annexure-IV).

One complaint (No. 14948) has been raised for the said Order (Please See Annexure-V) and on 21.05.2012 a mail from Timtara.com confirms that the refund is in process (Please See Annexure-VI)

After waiting for some more days, on 06.06.2012 I have send one mail to the payment gateway (i.e. ccavenue.com) requesting them to intermediate for refund (Please See Annexure-VII) and they have instructed Mr. Raja Singh of Timtara.com for refund of the said order (Please See Annexure-VII).

On 13.06.2012, I received a mail from Mr. Raja Singh of Timtara.com confirming that they will issue a Demand Draft for refund and asked me to provide account details (Please See Annexure-VII). I have replied to the mail on the same day and again on 19.06.2012 asking whether refund has made from their end.

But till then I have not got either any refund or any response from timtara.com and the Order status still shows as “Payment refund pending” (Please See Annexure-VIII).

From the above fact, it is obvious that there is a gross service deficiency from Timtara.com.

In this regard, I am appealing for a total compensation of Rs 4799 from Timtara.com and the breakup is given below:
Product Cost : Rs 2,599 (Prepaid Voucher purchase receipt &Credit Card statement enclosed)
Telephone Charge (to contact Customer Support) : Rs 400
Charge for sending mails : Rs 200
Interest for holding the money : Rs100
Compensation for mental harassment and time wasting : Rs 1500
