We had purchased Philips Iron worth Rs. 650 ( Model GC-85 -Dry iron) on 24th May'09 from D-MART shop, Thakur village , Kandivali( e) ,Mumbai.
When we started to use the iron it was not getting heated properly. Inspite of this we kept on using and atlast it stopped working completely. We went to the D-MART shop, customer care , but they refused to do anything , inspite told to contact Philips cusomer care, when we contacted proper response was not got.
Hence we feel that the product is defective and we demand a complete replacement.
hi even m facing similar problem..i got philips hair styler as a gift on my bday ,purchased 4m shoppers stop lucknow..and it was also not heating up properly..i straightway dumped the product at its local service centre,and boldly have demanded its replacement alongwith its extended warranty..dey hav agreed for replacement finally after my so many phone calls..afterall who is responsible for its manufacture defect..its been over a month at the service centre and i have not got the positive response regarding when can i collect my product back..
i have made several complaints on philips customer are number regarding dis..and dey just made false commitment of calling back and seeing to it....extremely disappointed with its quality and service..

There is no use in posting individual complains. They are making fool of customers because we are not united. lets expose them to the world by posting snaps and videos of their third quality products.
