DELL India - Dell does not give laptop I paid for and kept me waiting for 3 months since Feb.

I started to purchase a Dell laptop in end February. I paid to dell on 26th Feb for a new Studio 1555 laptop. They gave me date of delivery on 8th of March. I waited for that. But laptop never appeared. When contacted to dell they said due to some production problems delivery date have been changed to 12th March and I\'ll surely get laptop on that date.. But even that never happened. I spent hours and hours to reach dell\'s customer care; but no one took my calls or replied voicemails. When sometimes they did they seemed clueless about when I\'ll get it. So at last harassed when I called to cancel my order to get my money back some senior from sales department came online... he persuaded me not to cancel my order and offered me compensation for late delivery. He offered me \"A Bluetooth Mouse, A backpack, & Extended warranty\". I accepted. After endless strings of calls and mails for which seldom (read as no) any reply came; I got my Laptop delivered to me on 27th of March. Exactly one month after payment were made. No compensations came with that.

But as I started Laptop I saw that was very slow, camera driver was not installed and much more. I felt there must be some software problem and contacted to dell tech support. But even after three hours diagnosis laptop took more than 10 min to start. It had serious problems with it\'s graphic card. So I called to return laptop back to Dell within three days. I was adamant for return of my money this time.

But once again their sales team was able to persuade me to replace the laptop instead of returning it. I accepted only on condition that delivery of new laptop must be within 15 days. But replacement also took one more month to take place. I was delivered replaced laptop on 4th of May.

This time their negligence raised to a newer level as the laptop I was delivered was not what I had paid for. It was a basic studio model. I was cheated for third time. People from dell to whom I contacted told me that it was not fault on the part of dell\'s; but was simply a small mistake. They told me to replace laptop once again. But I am not ready to go through all this hell once again.

I demanded my money back from them as well as interest for the same; since dell used that money for 3 months & gave me mental harassment in return. I was told it was not in policy of dell to pay interest or compensation.
Now tell me If Indian Consumers are sitting like a fool here to let their money be used by an MNC and getting nothing but mental harassment in return....

I\'m not ready to accept this. I want my money as well as interest on it, with compensation for mental harassment and cheating done to me by this company......

Mine laotop has also been further delayed twice.
Still waiting.
