I purchased a pre-paid connection # ********08 and SIM # 8991 4500 0401 3694 6370 on 1st week of Feb\'2010 . I have deposited my Driving License copy with Permanent Address on it ,Pan card copy and photograph and local address proof. Also recharged with Rs 333 coupon and could make some calls after activation . After just few days,the number was disconnected saying the number belongs to a diferent name .Soon I provided the documents again with new filled form. Again , I was given the same reason . I kept on sending mails and asking the customer care as what went wrong - they kept on saying that this number is in not your name. I sent mails to Airtel Nodal officer and Apellate Officer and got no response . The area Manager ( Mr Sathish ********77) never picked my calls. The distributor( Mr Kumar ********01 ) started avoiding my calls soon. The retailer Mr Vasudev ********10 cited technical fault from Airtel . I ran from pillar to post calling evryone in Airtel and nobody accepted that it\'s an Airtel mistake . I lost mental peace , business calls and money making thousands of calls everyday from another number. Airtel played a dirty game of cheating & fraud because I do not hold any Govt VIP position . They did not care to look at the problem at all . The number got finally disconnected permanently and my balance money was forfieted illegally . It\'s a clear case of forgery & cheating , and I lost some important business calls as my number was circulated amongst my beneficiaries and trading parties. Following emails were used during correspondence . 121@s@airtelindia.com ,Nodal.southabts@airtel.in,appellate.kk@airtel.in .
It looks as if Airtel is run by mafias who do not care for basic consumer rights and playing a dangerous game of business forgery .
