Hi,
We had a Reliance Broadband Connection in our house with a telephone Customer Id - 100114321043.
Plan was some Rs. 300/- per month with Unlimited Data usage.
Last year in august 2011 i guess , my family called customer care to terminate this connection, Customer care confirmed us about the disconnection. After that we never used Internet and the Landline. Still we got a bill of Rs 1,583.63 /- after disconnection. In that bill it was showing that we have made telephone calls to Nagpur more than 5-6 Hours , which was impossible after disconnection of Internet and Telephone. I guess Reliance dont have that much of technology support which can track the request of disconnection from customers...So they are now charging us for false call which we never did.
We also got a call from customer care, they asked us to submit Modem, Telephone etc. My father went to the office of Reliance in Pune and submit all those thing and clarified about the false bill.
After that now in 2012 few days back my father got a call from a Lawyer of Reliance (Ph no- 0********61), he told my father to pay due amount of Rs 1,800 /- . Now today (date -15th March 2012) again he called and told my father to pay Rs. 2,316/- within one hour or else he will file a FIR against my father. The person (Lawyer) is very rude to us and he was literally threatening.
What Should we do now because Reliance is Charging us illegally which we never used that to extra Rs 2316 /- ????
Previously in June 2009, we had same kind of connection from Reliance Broadband, Same problem occured with regard to termination of Internet and Extra bill they charged after the disconnection.
Reliance is a Big time FRUAD.
