After the recent budget announcement to increase the tax on cigarettes, the vendors have taken the law to their hands and have hiked Rs. 5 to Rs. 30 per pack of cigarettes in Bangalore and other places.
Kindly raid these cheats, distributors and penalize heavily based on the number of sales since the budget 2014.
We want to know where this money is reaching and also let the vendors sell the pack for Rs. 5 less cutting their own pocket for a month.
I have been a consumer with several vendors in J P Nagar, Jayanagar and Basvangudi of South Bangalore. You just have to ask for a pack of cigarettes and you know who the cheats are.
