The Below mail was written by me to the MD of ITC Hotels & also to the GM of ITC Maurya New Delhi but fail to get a reply from them so the extreme step:
Dear Sir,
Pl. find attached the photo\'s of 2 (Two) different table I was asked to sit for dinner at the ITC Maurya\'s coffee shop on 20th & 21st November 2009. The PIC\'s are self explanatory.
I would just like to suggest: ITC has a very wrong culture of waiving off the bill if something goes wrong in any of their hotels across India. We DO NOT visit ITC for complimentary food / drinks. We have enough capacity to pay the bill for the drinks & food that we consume. This is not the first time that I have been offered complimentary food / drinks & I have been refusing it always as it gives ITC to mellow down with their mistakes. I have my own self respect & ITC has been hurting it for long now. Mistakes need to be taken in & needs to be improved.
I had also gone around with your captain at ITC Maurya\'s Coffee Shop on 21st November 2009 & he opened about 25 fresh washed table napkins but unfortunately out of the 25, about 40% could not be served on the table & about 10% had food & black stains on it as per your captain & not me. If your staffs say that there\'s something wrong then I need not mention any more.
Hope to have your thoughts on it.
Regards Always
Saurav Chatterjee
