Dear Sir, This is Raju.
I'm residing at Arakkonam. Daily I use train for my travel to chennai as I'm working in chennai.
I hereby by bring to your kind information that the poor service from the officials and employees.
1. No Proper public addressing system at Arakkonam Railway Station. Computerized Announcement is understandable by all as it is slow and steady. For trains such as Kacheguda Express, Dadar Express, Mumbai CST express, Mumbai CST mail, etc., No Recorded *** Computerized announcement is given to passengers. The announcement about the arrival of train is given by staff members with very poor english, poor expression and is fast. These Trains are mainly used by passengers of various states those who dont know tamil. So they feel very inconvenient in understanding that. (NO CORRECTIVE MEASURE TAKEN AFTER SO MANY REQUESTS)

2. 5 Platforms are available at AJJ. On Platform 3,4,and 5, They are accomodating six trains. two trains per platform.One is going towards Chennai and others towards Vellore(via Katpadi), Renigunta etc., So I request the Railway Officials at higher grade to increase the number of platforms at AJJ.

3. Very Poor Water Facility at all the platforms. ( NO CORRECTIVE ACTIONS TAKEN AFTER SO MANY REQUESTS/INTIMATIONS)

4. Very Very Very Poor response for Passenger enquiry. No Seperate Passenger Care Centre available like MAS, CGL, KPD.

5. The Third line between Arakkonam and Tiruvallur has been completed one year back. But Still it has not given for operation.

6. The Amount has been Sanctioned for the Fourth Line between Arakkonam and Tiruvallur. But Work has not started yet.

7. I request the railways to Visit the Platform No:8 to See the Pathetic Situation of Arakkonam Passengers. I’m sure NO ONE CAN STAY THERE FOR MORE THAN ONE MINUTE WITHOUR THEIR HAND KERCHIEFS.

I request you to kindly take necessary actions Please Take necessary steps in resolving the above mentioned problems.
