i bought a new split type room air conditioner two years back. the remote controller gone outoforder. i worked it only a couple of days. i lodged my coplaint with chennai office over telephone 1********58 on 4 june 2009. my complaint number is 01457 . a technition mr ummer came and collected the defective remote telling that it will be repaired and returned. till today i did not get it. i cotacted chennai office many a time. now they say they cannot repair it,they will replace it with a new one at a cost of rs 650. later i got a tel call from palakkad agent [ tel no 0491 2540847 ] telling that they will replace it with a new one at a cost of rs 1450.
my grievence is as follows
1] how such a branded prodect will go out of order in a couple of days\" use in an irrepairable condition?
2]how i can relay on them when the company and their own agent quote the cost with much variation.?
3] where can i get it repaired or replaced at a reasonable cost?
4] how can i confirm that i am not cheated?
