I gave my Xperia ion for repair to service center (Chaitanya Electronics, Pune) for resolving Camera blurriness on 02/12/2013.

The person who checked my mobile used some liquid to wipe the camera glass. In the process the camera glass got dislodged.

He glued it back some how. Still The camera was not clear !

He told me panel needs to be replaced and would cost 1100. I approved it even though he broke the glass.

I got a call on 5th for confirming repair and cost. I also approved the same !

Today (9/12/2013) when i called them they said my handset is ready. When i go there i get the handset for checking.

What i see is, there is no glass for the camera. Pictures also were not clear. When i asked him why is there an issue even after replacing the lens. He told me lens is not replaced !!! i asked him why he said because i did not pay advance.

Its not even 6 months and phone showed camera clarity issue.

I have few questions :

1) Why should i pay for something that service guy has broken.

I am asked to pay 1100 for replacement. If he mishandled my handset while checking why should i pay for the same?

2) Handset was just 6 months old and it started giving blur photos ! What quality is this?

Even 2mp cameras of other brands give good quality pics !

3) Why isn't my cell repaired after 1 week? Even when i approved the cost.

I was ready to pay even when the cell is under warranty.

4) If it is replaced will the lens again give blur pics after 6 months?
