I had purchased Xperia C mobile Universal on 25th Dec 2013, after two days i noticed that my Sim 1 Network is fluctuating. i was thinking it was a network issue and after a week there was no network in Sim 1, i went to Universal and they showed me the box and said there is a accidental cover for 6 months and he told me that it is manufacturing defect and told me to go to The Great Sony Service Centro. when i went there the lady i don't remember the name she said me that only Sim slot will be replaced and i had the Great Customer Care (what a Service they give) and they also told me the same thing that if a phone is fallen in water or screen damage then it will be considered as accidental damage, not for the Sim slot damage.
hence i gave the Handset on 18th Jan 2014 and the lady took it inside for checking and again came out and told me and showed me that there are 3 pins in Sim Slot 1 & 2 and 1 Pin was shaking and it has to be replaced. i accepted and gave them the handset and they told me it will take 6 working days.
after six days i called them they told me some HU approval is needed and it was dragged tp the next week again when i told same thing was told and i had escalated to the Sonyindia.care@ap.sony.com about the Service Center as well as the Customer care executives on their behavior after that i received a call from service center on 2nd Feb saying my handset will be ready by Wednesday on 5th Feb, i called them on 6th Feb and here is where Sony guys show their real blood.
Service Center guys tell it will take i more week
Customer care guys speak all the non - sense and tell me to ask the service center
again service center head Mr. Anand tell me rudely do what ever you want we don't care, you need to pay Rs. 1200/- for the replacement of the Sim Slot.
now Customer Service care you need to call them Customer careless people tell me that the snap which was sent to them show the Pin was missing in the Sim slot and i need to pay for it and it does not cover under the warranty.
i am frustrated now why the**** i went to buy the Sony Mobile what was wrong with me? and I want to understand what do Sony and Sony service people think of Warranty? when they say about accidental damage then why my handset is not cover under warranty?
and one more thing do Sony think Customer can be taken it for granted, to follow them every now and then and Sony don't even bother about Customers
Finally i had to pay them the advance of Rs. 400/- to get the Sim Slot and it takes about 1 more week to get it replaced.
i haven't seen a worst service like this ever? i am shocked worlds No.1 Brand Sony's Customer response is at this level. Hell there is no one who could come forward and listen to you it is like a Roadside shoppers in Grey market once sold, do hell with it.
