DEAR SIR,

WE ARE DEALERS FOR ASHOK LEYLAND LTD. FOR KORBA HAD SENT SIX
CASES OF ASHOK LEYLAND SPARES TO JINDAL STEEL POWER LTD.TENSA
ROURKELA VIDE OUR BILL NO 02 DTD 1/04/11 THROUGH GATI KORBA VIDEG C
NO 4******** DTD 2ND APRIL 2011. (WAS TO BE DELIVERED BY 6TH APRIL )
WAS DELIVERED ON 12 APRIL THAT TOO OUT OF SIX CASES FIVE WERE DELIVERED AND THREE ITEMS FROM ONE MORE CASE ARE FOUND MISSING. CUSTOMER HAS ALREADY GIVEN SHORT CERTIFICATE FOR ONE BOX/CASE AND TWO OTHER ITEMS WHICH ARE FOUND SHORT. OUT OF Rs 107792= SHORT RECEIVED MATERIAL IS OF RS 39355=00.

DESPITE OF OUR SEVERAL COMPLAINTS LODGED WITH GATIS TOLL FREE NUMBER ,MAILS SENT TO CUSTOMER CARE, BRANCH MANAGER MR TIWARI FROM KORBA, AREA INCHARGE MR YADAW RAIPUR, REGIONAL HEAD AMRISH GUPTA FROM NAGPUR THERE HAS BEEN NO ACTION TAKEN TILL DATE.
WE HAVE BEEN CHARGED RS 3245 AS FREIGHT FROM KORBA TO ROURKELA WHICH ITSELF IS TOO HIGH DISTANCE IS ONLY 260 KMS (FOR 130 KG CONSIGNMENT).. RESPONSE FROM GATI TRANSPORT IS VERY POOR , NO ACTION HAS BEEN TAKEN TILL DATE. THEY DO NOT HAVE COURTESY TO EVEN CALL BACK TELLING THE STATUS OF THE COMPLAINT. I DO NOT KNOW HOW THEY ARE MANAGING SUCH A BIG SHOW WITH THIS POOR SERVICE THAT TOO IN SERVICE INDUSTRY WHERE QUALITY, SAFETY, TIME ,CUSTOMER RELATIONS ARE THE BASIC REQUIREMENTS OF THE INDUSTRY.
ITS MY HUMBLE APPEAL TO THE FORUM TO KINDLY TAKE UP THE MATTER WITH GATI TRANSPORT AND TO INSTRUCT THEM TO RESOLVE THE MATTER AT THE EARLIEST.
